I’ve been writing stories since childhood, but it took me 40 years to publish my highly acclaimed debut novel, Renaissance Mann. That journey taught me something profound: every struggle, every setback, and every triumph carries within it the seeds of a greater story.
I’ve been writing stories since childhood, but it took me 40 years to publish my highly acclaimed debut novel, Renaissance Mann. That journey taught me something profound: every struggle, every setback, and every triumph carries within it the seeds of a greater story. My next book, Mr. Territaff: Dark Matters, continues that unfolding journey, one that reflects both the chaos of our world and the possibility of transformation.
I write science fiction because it allows me to explore the deepest questions of the human spirit through alien eyes and distant worlds. Within my stories, heroes wrestle with violence, injustice, and despair, yet they also embody our timeless search for peace, meaning, and harmony. To me, these are not just tales of survival, but of awakening reminders that even in the darkest places, light can be found.
Writing saved me through a difficult childhood, a broken marriage, and even cancer. It became a way to connect with something greater, to channel both pain and wonder into worlds that inspire. My hope is that when you step into my books, you don’t just journey to strange and exotic places, you feel a spark of your own inner universe coming alive.

Coming this winter, a collection of stories for YA readers and new fiction for all readers.
The first collection is entitled Stories from the Cafe at the Edge of the Universe. It’s a work in progress.
Also, the 3rd book of the Territaff series, The Vultaran Dilemma, is in production and (hopefully)
will be in distribution next year.
I’ve been writing stories since childhood, but it took me 40 years to publish my highly acclaimed debut novel, Renaissance
Renaissance Mann is a thrilling sci-fi novel set in a world ravaged by a deadly virus, war, and the rise of a rogue AI. Amid global catastrophe, an unassuming protagonist is thrust into the role of saving humanity. As the world faces an impending singularity, they must navigate dangers from both man and machine. At its core, the novel explores the struggle to retain humanity’s soul in a mechanical world, intertwined with a heartfelt love story that drives the protagonist’s mission. Fast-paced and deeply philosophical, Renaissance Mann offers a fresh take on sci-fi, highlighting the delicate balance between technology and humanity.
Renaissance Mann follows Phil, a human who must help aliens fight off a deadly nanovirus and rival aliens. The story begins with Phil’s struggle before he falls into a deep sleep, waking up on an alien ship where he meets Nickada (Nicki), who guides him through the challenges of Venubia. As Phil learns about the planet’s struggles, he does everything he can to help its inhabitants. The book is divided into sections to keep readers on track through its complex narrative. The evolving relationship between Phil and Nicki adds depth to the story, with an emotional twist that’s best left unspoiled. The ending sets up potential for a sequel, leaving readers eager to discover Phil’s future in Venubia.
This an epic intergalactic novel following Phillip Mann’s life as an enhanced humanoid. The book is divided into five parts, each detailing events that impacted Phil significantly. The author gives Phil’s perception to make him easy to relate to. I found the androids being capable of expressing emotion and almost forgot they were not human. A ship capable of talking to you like a living entitiy added even more enterainment and intrigue. Definitely worth reading. I recommend mature fans of science fiction stories with romance and a sarcastic protagonist to pick this up.
